چکیده
Methane hydrate has been extensively studied as a potential medium for natural gas storage and transportation. Due to their high specific surface area, tunable porous structure, chemistry, metal–organic frameworks are ideal materials exhibit the catalytic effect formation process of hydrate. In this paper, hollow ZIF-8 nanoparticles synthesized using hard template method. The used in adsorption methane process. pre-adsorbed water mass on capacity rate is investigated. wet, augmented with an increase ratio dry, (RW), maximum RW 1.2 can reach 20.72 mmol/g at 275 K 8.57 MPa. With decrease RW, exhibits shortened induction time accelerated growth rate. further demonstrated enthalpy generation reaction. This work provides promising alternative material storage.

Illuminating solid gas storage in confined spaces - methane hydrate formation in porous model carbons.
Methane hydrate nucleation and growth in porous model carbon materials illuminates the way towards the design of an optimized solid-based methane storage technology. High-pressure methane adsorption studies on pre-humidified carbons with well-defined and uniform porosity show that methane hydrate formation in confined nanospace can take place at relatively low pressures, even below 3 MPa CH4, d...
متن کاملFormation of Methane Hydrate in the Presence of Natural and Synthetic Nanoparticles
Natural gas hydrates occur widely on the ocean-bed and in permafrost regions, and have potential as an untapped energy resource. Their formation and growth, however, poses major problems for the energy sector due to their tendency to block oil and gas pipelines, whereas their melting is viewed as a potential contributor to climate change. Although recent advances have been made in understanding...

Neutron diffraction runs and gas-consumption experiments based on pressure-volume-temperature measurements are conducted to study the kinetics of methane hydrate formation from hydrogenated and deuterated ice powder samples in the temperature range of 245-270 K up to high degrees of transformation. An improved theory of the hydrate growth in a polydisperse ensemble of randomly packed ice sphere...

متن کاملExperimental Measurement of Methane and Ethane Mole Fractions during Gas Hydrate Formation
The super-saturation condition has to be provided to form gas hydrates. Consequently, the prediction of the guest molecule fraction in the aqueous phase is crucial in the study of the gas hydrate kinetics. In the present work, several experiments were carried out in a semi-batch reactor in order to determine the mole fraction of methane and ethane during gas hydrates formation (growth stage...
